FIRST, he declared that there will be no crooks in his government. Now he is calling on the people to revolt against corruption.

Bangon Pilipinas presidential candidate Bro. Eddie Villanueva was reacting to the recent statement of Transparency International that the next president will have to undo institutionalized corruption and win back the respect of the people.

“This time, we will engage the support of the people, particularly the OFWs whose hearts bleed for the chance to go home and be with their families in the Philippines,” he said.
Villanueva led the biggest political rally ever in Hong Kong last Sunday. He said the people must be made to understand that the money lost to corruption, the money that government officials steal, are the people’s money for food, for education, and for hospitalization.

“Corruption is stealing. It is against the basic law of man and God,” he said. “The people should not just know, they should get angry that the public officials they voted for are the ones stealing from them. The only way to stop corruption is for the people to revolt against it,” he said.
